Our Story

Doc loves people, and he loves hot sauce. He has spent thirty years in the profession of prosthetics and orthotics, providing limbs for people and enhancing their ability to function and return to a normal lifestyle. His patience, care, and compassion for people have led his patients to affectionately call him “Doc.”

He brings the same zeal to his love for gourmet hot sauce. Doc’s passion is to provide people with the most delectable hot sauce on the market.

For many years Doc searched the marketplaces for the most excellent hot sauces, but he was never quite satisfied. It seemed like the only thing to do was to produce his own hot sauce recipes.

That’s where the Mrs. came in.

A collection of hot and spicy habanero peppers, mostly. red in color. Doc's Habanero Heaven.
A black and white line drawing of a smiling Doc and Mrs. Doc of Doc's Habanero Heaven. Mrs. Doc is short, with curly dark hair. Doc is tall, with a full beard and a cowboy hat.

The Ruach ha-Qodesh has inspired Doc and Mrs. Doc, driving their passion to develop the perfect combination of flavors. Doc embellishes all foods with these flavor-enhancing sauces, and he has influenced Mrs. Doc to do the same!

Our organic peppers are grown locally on the ranch. The remaining ingredients are all-natural, providing our phenomenal taste, heat, texture, color, aroma and afterburn.

Doc’s love for hot sauce generates many interesting conversations in restaurants, delis, and wherever he and Mrs. Doc dine. We love sharing our hot sauces with servers, chefs, hosts, managers, and even the owners. It's especially satisfying to see their reactions and facial expressions, and to listen to their comments after tasting our hot sauces.  Several restaurants now serve Doc’s hot sauces in their own menus!

A huge thank you to all who have helped Doc and Mrs. Doc achieve their dream of providing the finest hot sauces on the market. Doc's best friend (Mrs. Doc!); and his closest friends: Skip in Memphis, Tennessee, who introduced him to hot peppers in college; and Smitty in Hubbard, Ohio, who tricked him in the garden one day to eat what he thought was a moderately hot pepper. (NOT!) Smitty then encouraged Doc to produce his first batch of hot mustard sauce.

We know you will enjoy sharing these fine products with family, friends, and strangers.

The sauces are habit-forming to all who truly appreciate the qualities of hot sauce. Remember, some of this hot sauce is not for sissies! Make sure you buy the right one or you may end up with a tail-burning sensation!

God bless America,

Doc & Mrs. Doc
